At Kudu Kaya there are 15 campsites (Sites 1 – 4 have been converted to tented campsites) located in the valley of the Ysrivier, a mountain stream. They are all individually marked and located in a peaceful setting on the farm amongst yellow wood and other indigenous trees.

No dogs allowed.

No rubbish bins are provided at the campsites, bring own bags that can be dropped in a small wagon at reception.

Do not leave tents unattended or open.

Make sure that all food is in closed containers or covered up.

Tented Camps

The Tented Camp is located on the other side of the stream at the Campsite providing guests with privacy.

The four tents are located in indigenous bush under huge yellow wood trees next to a stream it is the ideal spot to relax away from the normal hustle and bustle.

Campsites

The shady campsites share 4 ablution facilities with hot water showers and flush toilets. Campsite number 16 is a large stand suitable for groups with its own ablution block.

Starting at the camping area there is a hiking trail through the indigenous bush along a mountain stream into the mountain. Plenty of opportunity exist for swimming in natural rock pools, rock climbing and kloofing.

The dense indigenous plant life also offers ample opportunities for bird watching.
